Discipleship & Mission Workshop
We want to model the principles and practices of missional discipleship that we see in the life of Jesus. We define discipleship as training people to LIVE and LEAD like Jesus in our increasingly post-Christian culture. This workshop mirrors the first immersion of a Learning Community and is intended for those churches and leaders who are considering the potential of joining the two-year learning journey.
Visitors Week
Some of the content will be similar to that of the workshop, but is more of an investigative tool to learn more about 3DM’s principles of discipleship and mission. Attending gives opportunity to see firsthand how churches have implemented discipleship huddles and missional communities – hearing about their successes, their mistakes and breakthroughs.
Church Plant/Micro-Church Workshop
While church plants and micro churches have different characteristics, they are similar in size. There are many questions that must be answered in these contexts. Attending will offer inputs and open discussions about such topics as: What is the pathway between a missional frontier and a spiritual family? Is bi-vocational the short or long term plan? What are the metrics of success in a missional discipleship culture?
Naturally Supernatural Workshop
We all would like to hear God more clearly, and the Bible specifically teaches that we are to seek after this. For example, in 1 Corinthians 14:1 we read ‘Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.’ We want to be more sensitive to His leading, but can sometimes feel awkward about this. Through the workshop we will lean into our identity in Christ and learn to live Naturally Supernatural.
